At the Cherry Creek Arts Festival this weekend, I saw a sign with a familiar quote, but with an interesting author.
Everything will be all right in the end. If it is not all right, it is not the end.
Anybody, nobody, everybody
As I am writing my book, Moving Mountains, about my healing journey years ago, I am reminded how much trust is needed to journey through the challenges in life. Whether it is a health, career or financial challenge, one has to have hope that everything will turn out ok.
But beyond hope there must be action. I couldn’t learn to walk again if I didn’t take one foot and put it in front of the other. I can’t finish my book if I don’t write, work with an editor, create a book cover, produce and market it. I can’t make money as a writer unless I take the steps to speak, write more books,do workshops and gather personal clients to lead through the process.
I am aware of the limiting beliefs that keep me stuck. I haven’t seen myself as a writer capable of making a living. Now I am learning to stretch beyond my comfort zone.
The journey has just begun. I don’t even know all the steps that are in front of me, but I know I have to keeping taking baby steps to get there.
The pilgrimage begun sixteen years ago with a sudden illness has not ended. It is a continual learning process, a lesson in learning to trust that I am in the right place and everything will be ok. I am trusting my actions will be divinely guided and that everything will be all right in the end.
